E Street recommends the Internet browser software “FireFox” or Google’s “Chrome” (and add Safari for Macs) for the best speed, reliability and performance. For Windows use the latest “Edge” and if Internet Explorer is used ..only vers 11 or later. You can download FireFox here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ and Chrome here: https://www.google.com/chrome
Occasionally web browsers need to have their “cache” flushed for various reasons… usually to view changes when updating page content in CMS or working with new website designs or to improve performance. Here is how to do it:

* Older Internet Explorer (version 6.x – 9.x) ..NOTE- for security reasons you should NOT be using this browser. If you are you probably should take your computer offline or immediately switch to FireFox http://www.mozilla.com or Chrome
….but if you need to flush cache in it:
1) Go to the Tools menu
2) Scroll down and select Internet Options
3) Make sure you are on the General tab
4) Click the Delete Files in the Temporary Internet Files section
You should also check to see how large the cache can be:
1) Under the Temporary Internet Files, click on Settings
We usually advise folks not have have their cache set much over 10-50MB of disk space. Much larger than that and your computer will slow down because it has to search through all of these files in order to display a page to you.
