Windows Vista POP3 email issues

A known problem of the new Window’s operating system Vista occurs when a user tries to access their POP email account, which is the type of email that E Street provides. The user’s experiencing this problem report timeout and other connection errors when trying to access their email accounts.

-0x800cccOF

A fix for this issue was found on Microsoft’s support forums:

Go to Programs, Accessories then right-click Command Line and select “Run as administrator”.

At the prompt type the following:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
